What does the booking page look like?

It is a small personal website rather than a form. You choose one of four designs, Studio Noir, Botanical, Sunroom or Afterglow, add your photos, a gallery, your story and your Instagram link, and your classes list underneath with a Book button on each one.

What is my booking web address?

sequenceos.app/book/your-name. The address is suggested from your teaching or business name as you type it, and you can edit it before you publish. Published pages that you mark as listed are included in the Sequence/OS sitemap so search engines can find them.

How do students pay, and what does it cost me?

Students pay by card through Stripe. You connect your own Stripe account once, and money for each class lands in your account, not ours. Sequence/OS takes a 2% platform fee. Stripe's own card fee applies separately and varies by country (see your Stripe dashboard).

Which currency are my class prices in?

Your own. Class prices are charged in the currency of your Stripe account, so a teacher in the United Kingdom sells in pounds and a teacher in the United States sells in dollars. Sequence/OS never converts your prices.

Can I run a course or a block of classes?

Yes. Set a class to repeat weekly and every date is created for you, with block pricing if you want students to buy the whole course. If the repeat is at the same time and place, all the dates go onto your teaching calendar automatically.

What happens if I cancel a class?

The class is marked cancelled and kept on record, everyone booked is emailed, and you choose whether to refund through Stripe or carry the payment over to another class. You can cancel one date or all remaining dates of a course.

Do students have to create an account?

No. Anyone can book by filling in their details. Students who do create an account have their details and health form saved, so booking next time takes seconds, and they are asked to confirm nothing has changed.

What about health information?

Health form answers are stored encrypted, are visible only to the teacher the student booked with, and every time a form is opened that access is logged. You choose how long forms are kept and can action a student's deletion request from the privacy screen.

Does it work on the iPhone app?

Yes. Booking pages, classes, clients, health flags, payments, refunds and privacy settings are all in the iPhone app as well as on the web, on the same account.

Does booking cost extra on top of my subscription?

No. Bookings, payments and email marketing are included in Sequence/OS Pro. The only booking charge is the 2% platform fee on paid bookings, plus Stripe's own card fee.

Students, health forms and cancellations

Students book with or without an account; returning students sign in and their details are already there.
A health form on first booking, and a prompt to confirm anything that has changed since.
Answers are encrypted, visible only to you, and every time you open a form the access is logged.
Flagged considerations appear next to the student's name in your class list and on your calendar.
Cancel a class and everyone booked is emailed, with a Stripe refund or a carry-over to another class.

A booking is not a separate world. Open the class on your teaching calendar and you see who is coming and any health notes you need before they walk in. Plan a class in the planning calendar and you can open it for bookings in one step, or start from bookings and add it to your calendar.
