Plan. Play. Practice.

Yoga Class Planning App

Āsana/OS is more than a yoga class planning app. You plan a class from a full pose library, drop it onto your week in the calendar, and play it back on the mat with spoken cues and timed transitions. Every pose stays fully editable, so a class you built on Monday can be re shaped on Friday morning and taught the same afternoon. Plan, play, practice, in one place.

Written by teachers, for teachers.

More than a planning app. It brings the class to life.

Most planning tools hand you a document and stop there. Āsana/OS closes the loop between writing a class and teaching it. The class, the pose reference, the timer and the calendar are all one thing.

  • A class library. Every class you have built, searchable by theme, peak pose or date taught.
  • A pose library with cues, breath counts and modifications so nothing gets lost between classes.
  • Printable outlines you can hand a cover teacher without editing anything.
  • Play Mode that reads cues aloud so you can teach without staring at a phone.
  • Linked music that opens from Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube on cue.

Calendar drop and play. Plan the week ahead.

The calendar is where the week comes together. Drag a saved class onto a day and time, add the studio, and the week is planned.

  • See every class you are teaching this week at a glance.
  • Reuse the same class across days without duplicating the file.
  • Tap the entry on teaching day to open Play Mode straight from the calendar.
  • Edit a class on the way to the studio and the scheduled version updates with it.

Fully editable. A class is never locked.

Reorder poses, swap peaks, rewrite a cue in your own voice, add a breath, drop a saved warm up in the middle. Every change saves instantly and Play Mode reflects it next time you open the class.

How is planning different from sequencing?

Planning is the outer layer. What you are teaching, when, and to whom. Sequencing is the inner layer. Which poses in which order. Āsana/OS covers both. The yoga sequencing app overview is a good starting point if you want the sequencing side first, and how to sequence a class around a peak pose is the teaching craft guide behind it.

  • Planning asks. Is this the right class for this room, at this time of day, this week?
  • Sequencing asks. Given that class, what are the poses and in what order?
  • The app treats them as the same document, so a small planning change does not mean rewriting the sequence.

Printable outlines. What a class sheet looks like.

Every class exports to a one or two page outline suitable for a clipboard or a cover teacher.

  • Class name, length, theme and peak pose at the top.
  • Poses in order with breath counts or timing.
  • Cues under each pose so someone else could teach it.
  • Modifications and prop notes where you have set them.
  • Playlist link at the foot of the page.

Play Mode. Hands free teaching on the mat.

Play Mode is what turns the plan into a class you can teach without a screen in your hand.

  1. Open the class on your phone or tablet and tap Play.
  2. Cues read aloud at the breath count or timer you set per pose.
  3. Skip, hold, or add a breath from the lock screen when the room needs it.
  4. Linked playlist launches on cue in Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube.
  5. Class ends with a savasana timer and a gentle bell.

If your classes are vinyasa heavy, the vinyasa sequence builder walks through how breath counts and reusable blocks fit into this.

How to start planning your classes in one place.

  1. Sign up and rebuild the class you will teach next.
  2. Add cues to the three or four poses that matter most.
  3. Drop the class onto tomorrow in the calendar.
  4. Rehearse once in Play Mode at teaching pace.
  5. Print or share the outline to check it reads cleanly.
  6. Teach from it. Adjust after class while it is still fresh.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from a normal planning app?
A planning app usually stops at the document. Āsana/OS also teaches with you. The class you plan opens as Play Mode on the day, reads your cues aloud, times the transitions and launches your playlist. The plan and the class are the same thing.
Can I plan a whole teaching week in one place?
Yes. The calendar view is drop and play. Drag a saved class onto a date and time, add the studio, and tap it on the day to open Play Mode. No re planning, no digging through folders.
How editable is a class once it is built?
Fully editable. Reorder poses, swap sides, change breath counts, rewrite a cue, drop a saved block in the middle or delete a whole section. Every change saves live and Play Mode picks it up next time.
Can I use it in a studio with no reliable Wi Fi?
Yes. Once a class is loaded, Play Mode and the class outline work without a live connection. You need Wi Fi or data to sync new changes and to launch a linked playlist.
Can I print a class outline for a cover teacher?
Yes. Every class has a printable outline with poses, timing, cues and any modifications. Export it as PDF or share a view only link.
Does it replace my class schedule or calendar?
For the classes themselves, yes. The built in calendar handles what you are teaching and when. Most teachers still keep studio bookings in the studio's own system and use the Āsana/OS calendar for the class content.
Can I keep classes private?
Yes. Every class is private by default. Publishing to the community is a deliberate action per class.
What if I already have classes written in a notebook?
Rebuild your two or three most taught classes in the app first, teach from them for a couple of weeks, then decide whether to migrate the rest. Most teachers only bother with the classes they still use.
Is there a mobile app?
The web app works on phone, tablet and desktop. You can add it to your home screen for a full screen experience. Most teachers use it on a phone or tablet on the mat.

Plan. Play. Practice.

Move your classes out of the notebook and onto the mat.
