Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
1. Who we are
Sequence/OS ("the Service") is provided by us ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Service
Sequence/OS is a web and iOS application for yoga teachers to design breath-paced class sequences, teach with a guided player, share sequences with a community of teachers, take class bookings and card payments through a public booking page, and email their own students.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and, if signing up on behalf of an organization, have the authority to bind it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to:
- Using the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or spam purposes.
- Infringing anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Interfering with the security or integrity of the Service (malware, probing, scraping, circumventing rate limits).
- Uploading content that is harmful, defamatory, or offensive.
5. Intellectual property
We retain ownership of the Service, its software, design, and branding. You retain ownership of the class content you create; you grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the Service (and, where you publish to the community library, to display it to other users you have chosen to share with).
6. Payments and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by Stripe, which acts as the Merchant of Record for Sequence/OS orders. Stripe handles payment processing, tax calculation and remittance where applicable, fraud protection, and dispute and refund handling. Your bank statement will show LINK.COM* SEQUENCE/OSalongside our name. Payment mechanics are governed by Stripe's Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you selected (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues to the end of the paid period. Subscription prices are shown in pounds for teachers in the United Kingdom and in US dollars elsewhere. If you subscribe inside the iPhone app, Apple takes the payment and you manage or cancel it through your Apple ID.
7. Class bookings and payments
Sequence/OS gives teachers a public booking page and the tools to take class bookings and card payments. The teaching contract is between you and your student. Sequence/OS provides the software; we are not a party to the class, we do not employ teachers, and we do not guarantee that any class takes place.
- Card payments for classes are taken through Stripe Connect, using a Stripe account in the teacher's own name and country. Funds are paid to the teacher, not to us.
- Class prices are charged in the currency of the teacher's Stripe account. Sequence/OS does not convert prices between currencies.
- Sequence/OS takes a 1% platform fee on each paid booking, deducted at the time of payment. Stripe's own card fee applies separately and varies by country (see your Stripe dashboard).
- Teachers are responsible for their own class terms, attendance and cancellation policies, insurance, qualifications, tax and any local licensing.
- Refunds to students, and any carry-over of a payment to another class, are the teacher's decision and are processed through the teacher's Stripe account.
- Teachers must not use booking pages for anything other than genuine classes, courses, workshops and related services.
8. Student data and email marketing
When you take bookings, you decide what to collect from your students and how you use it. For that student data you are the data controller and Sequence/OS is your processor; see the Privacy notice for detail.
- Health form answers are sensitive. They are stored encrypted, are visible only to the teacher the student booked with, and every access is logged. Use them only to teach that student safely.
- Marketing emails may only be sent to people who have consented. Bought, scraped or copied lists are not permitted, and we may suspend sending where we detect them.
- Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribes are applied immediately and honoured across all future sends.
- Emails are sent from a Sequence/OS sending domain in your name, with replies routed to your own contact address. You are responsible for the content of what you send.
- We may suspend booking or sending features for abuse, spam complaints, fraud risk or repeated policy breaches.
9. Service level and warranties
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination you may lose access to content stored in the Service; export any data you need beforehand.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow such a limit.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
