Does Sequence/OS integrate with Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube?

Yes. You paste a playlist link from Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube onto a class in the builder. Sequence/OS detects the service, saves the playlist with the class, and shows it in Playlist view on the play screen. Playback happens in the music service itself, so your own subscription and library are used and nothing is re-hosted.

Do I need a paid Spotify or Apple Music account?

You need whatever account that service normally requires to play a playlist. Sequence/OS does not resell or stream music. It stores the link, shows the playlist beside your poses, and leaves playback to the app you already pay for.

Will the spoken cues stop my music?

No. Voiceover cues are mixed through the Web Audio API and the app requests background audio, so cues speak over the top of your playlist instead of pausing it. That was the whole reason we built it this way: teachers were losing their soundtrack every time a cue fired.

Where do I add a playlist to a class?

Open the class in the builder and use the Soundtrack section. Paste the playlist URL, give it a name, and save. The link travels with the class, so it is there on every device you sign in on and every time you teach that class again.

Yes. The play screen has four views: Focus, Teach, Large and Playlist. Playlist view embeds your Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube playlist alongside the current pose, timer and cues, so you can skip a track without leaving the class.

Yes. The builder offers playlist suggestions grouped by mood: Grounding, Flow, Deep Restore, Energize and Mobility Groove, with tempo and texture notes so you can match the soundtrack to the arc of the sequence. Suggestions are starting points; you can always paste your own link instead.

Can I use one playlist across several classes?

Yes. Each class holds its own playlist link, so you can paste the same URL onto as many classes as you like, or give every class its own soundtrack.

Sequence/OS links the music you already pay for to the class you are about to teach. You paste a playlist URL from Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube onto a sequence, and it stays attached to that class: on the plan, on the play screen, and on every device you sign in on.

We do not host, stream or resell music. Playback stays inside your music service, with your subscription, your library and your offline downloads.

How it works

Open a class in the builder and find the Soundtrack section.
Paste a playlist link. The service (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube) is detected automatically and saved with a name of your choosing.
Teach the class and switch the play screen to Playlist view. The playlist embeds beside the current pose, the timer and the spoken cue.
Voiceover cues speak over the music rather than pausing it, so the room never falls silent between poses.

Why the cues do not cut your music

Most browser voice playback hijacks the audio session and stops whatever else is playing, which is fine on a laptop and useless in a studio. Sequence/OS mixes cues through the Web Audio API and keeps background audio alive, so your soundtrack runs underneath the class from the first grounding cue to savasana.

Playlist suggestions by mood

If you have not chosen a soundtrack yet, the builder suggests playlists grouped by the shape of the class:

Grounding: low, steady textures for warm-ups and long holds.
Flow: rolling percussion and breath-length phrases.
Deep Restore: ambient, spacious, nervous-system soft.
Energize: uptempo, driving pulse for peak sequences.
Mobility Groove: groove-forward, keeps controlled reps honest.
