Sequence/OS vs Momence
We make Sequence/OS. This is our honest comparison of which tools may suit your own teaching style the best, including where other tools beat us.
Momence is an all-in-one studio management platform: bookings, payments, memberships, marketing, retail and on-demand video in one system. Sequence/OS is a teaching companion with bookings built in. Momence is the better pick if you run a physical studio as a business, with staff, retail and marketing to manage. Sequence/OS is the better pick if you are the teacher, and you want to plan, teach and take bookings without running a back office.

Where Momence wins
Its scope is genuinely wider. A real free plan to start on, an on-demand video library, marketing automation, retail and point of sale, native ClassPass integration, and studio operations that Sequence/OS deliberately does not attempt. If you employ instructors, sell retail and think of your teaching as a venue business, Momence is built for that job.
Where Sequence/OS wins
Cost and predictability first. Momence's free plan takes a 5% cut of every booking with another fee passed to clients, and reported real spend climbs steeply once add-ons and staff seats stack up. Sequence/OS is a flat $30 a month with a 1% platform fee on bookings, and the booking features (waitlists, rolling passes, reminders, attendance, invoicing) are included rather than tiered.
The bigger difference is what the tool is actually for. Momence books the class; it does not help you write it or teach it. There is no sequence building and no equivalent of Play Mode, which keeps the written cue on each pose and holds the timing while you teach the room. If the class itself is your craft, Momence leaves half the job to you.
Bottom line
Running a studio with staff, retail and memberships: Momence, with your eyes open on the fees. Teaching your own classes and wanting planning, hands-free delivery and bookings in one flat-priced tool: Sequence/OS.
Competitor pricing changes often. Where we could not confirm a figure on the company's own site, we say so rather than print a number. Sequence/OS pricing checked August 2026.
