Sequence/OS vs Glofox

We make Sequence/OS. This is our honest comparison of which tools may suit your own teaching style the best, including where other tools beat us.

Glofox, now part of ABC Fitness, is boutique studio management software: timetables, member billing, check-in, retail and a branded member app, with genuine multi-location and franchise tooling at its upper tiers. Sequence/OS is a teaching companion with bookings built in. Glofox is the better pick for studios and small chains managing members as a business. Sequence/OS is the better pick for a teacher who plans, teaches and takes bookings themselves.

Where Glofox wins

Scale. Multi-location configuration, franchise reporting, lead capture and automated sales engagement, a branded member app in the app store, and integrations into the wider ABC Fitness ecosystem. For a growing boutique chain or a franchise operation, Glofox has depth Sequence/OS has no interest in matching.

Where Sequence/OS wins

Simplicity and honesty on price. Glofox publishes one starting number and quotes everything else through a sales call, with annual contracts reported; Sequence/OS is a flat $30 a month, stated publicly, with bookings, waitlists, rolling passes, reminders, attendance and invoicing all included at a 1% booking fee. For a solo teacher, that difference is the whole decision.

Then there is the class itself. Glofox manages the room around your class; it does not help you build the sequence or teach it. Sequence/OS carries deep teaching notes on every pose, and Play Mode keeps the written cue on the pose and holds the timing while you lead the room hands-free. Glofox ends at the door; Sequence/OS follows you onto the mat.

Bottom line

A boutique studio or small chain that wants branded apps, sales tooling and multi-location control: Glofox, once you have a written quote. A teacher who wants planning, hands-free teaching and bookings for one flat public price: Sequence/OS.

Competitor pricing changes often. Where we could not confirm a figure on the company's own site, we say so rather than print a number. Sequence/OS pricing checked August 2026.
